The ship is composed of a cone and two spheres. The 'slip-stream' is a cylinder. The implosion-like (re-entry?) space anomaly feature is a close-up view of the combined vertices of two very large interlaced cones with a radial light placed at the junction of the vertices. An infinate plane textured with a home-grown 2D bmp and a red gel for the light lends their colors to the anomaly. The ship and the anomaly were rendered as separate images, then combined with Photoshop.
